Malta's music scene punches far above the island's size. Across a single summer you can hear the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra at Teatru Manoel, world-touring DJs at Gianpula Village, and homegrown rock bands at Teatru Salesjan, often in the same week. The warm months bring the big open-air events.
Isle of MTV fills Il-Fosos Square in Floriana with a free headline concert, Glitch Festival takes over Gianpula for techno, and the Malta Jazz Festival lights up the Valletta waterfront at Ta' Liesse. Smaller venues carry the scene year-round, from intimate gigs at Corinthia Palace's Secret Garden to the alternative line-ups of the Trackage Scheme collective. Classical lovers are spoilt too, with the Teatru Manoel season running opera, chamber concerts and dance from autumn through summer.
GoGather lists it all in one place: live concerts, club nights, festivals, classical performances and one-off shows, across Valletta, Sliema, the south and Gozo. Whether you're after a massive beach party in Mellieħa, a tribute act at a village beer festival, or a quiet evening of Bach in a baroque theatre, you'll find the date, venue, ticket price and a direct link to book. Filter by area or by when you're free, and check back often, because Malta's promoters announce summer headliners throughout spring and the calendar grows week by week.
